hi there,

i found this community by clicking the "amoebas" link in my userinfo, and now i realize that, seriously, amoebas and parasites are way cooler than i thought! i'm here to learn more, so hopefully we can all stay active.

I think the best answer to that would be anyone who has to identify them. Look another nondescript blob. Is it a near circle (cyst) or oblong circle (trophozoite)? Give me mites and larger parasites anyday (although not personally, they tend to itch after a bit.) This week's lab, Nematoda, and all the joy that a roundworm has to bring.

So awesome to see new people in this community! It isn't as active as I'd like but that's mostly my fault! I'll do my best to update more often. The semester is getting a little hectic for me!
